The INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INTER-CULTURALITY gathers international recognized Lullian researchers that will present the ideas of Ramon Llull on some of the topics listed below, starting with the philosophical principles that underlie his philosophy, in particular its epistemological foundation. In the Round Tables, academics and researchers from others fields of study will discuss these ideas, already practicing in loco the intercultural Lullian dialogue. Specialist on Islamic thought will present the progress made in to reconcile the Islamic tradition in the East with Western modernism. Those devoted to the Jewish tradition shall contribute with their millennial experience to improve the concept of nation. The lecturers from Turkey will make known their views on the entry of their country in the EU.

This meeting counts with the collaboration of the main lullistic centers and with the support of the Government of Andorra and the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands and the Autonomous Community (Generalitat) of Catalunya. THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INTER-CULTURALITY is an encounter wishing to combine the academic knowledge with social and political experience. Its organizers have a conviction that this will open new ways to understand the complex issue of inter-cultural coexistence.
